These reasons is why we shouldn’t be too hard on ourselves

Did you read that?

It seems simple enough, right?

But for most of my clients, they don’t “know” what they want, and then they beat themselves up for not accomplishing “enough” or what they thought they would or “should” do each day. ⁣⁣

Do you know what you want?  ⁣⁣

The truth, 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐜𝐚𝐧’𝐭 𝐚𝐜𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐡 “𝐞𝐧𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡” 𝐢𝐟 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐝𝐨𝐧’𝐭 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐰𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐚𝐜𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐡.

I get clients hiring me to

“𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐩 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐦 𝐟𝐞𝐞𝐥 𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐦𝐞𝐝”

𝐨𝐫 “𝐛𝐞 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐬𝐮𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐟𝐮𝐥,”

but before anyone can help you be 𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐬𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐫 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐬𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 else, you need to know and define what you want. ⁣⁣⁣⁣

How many hours do you want to work? ⁣⁣

What tasks do you like doing in your business? ⁣⁣

What do you want to do (in life and business) more of?

What do you want to do less of? ⁣⁣

How much money do you want to make in your business?⁣⁣

Why do you want to make that much? ⁣⁣

What do you want to change in your motherhood? ⁣⁣

How do you want to feel in your business? ⁣⁣

How do you currently feel about your motherhood?

How do you want to feel about your motherhood?⁣⁣

What is a feeling you want to feel more of? Less of?

Answering these questions can take time, but the answers reveal what you want, which will 𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐮𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐥𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐋𝐎𝐍𝐆 𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐦 𝐞𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐦 and gain the success you desire!⁣⁣

We are overwhelmed because we don’t know what we want and/or we don’t know how to get it!

𝐏𝐫𝐨 𝐭𝐢𝐩 – knowing what we want is sometimes hard, so start here.

⁣⁣⁣⁣1. Write down what you know you DON’T want ⁣⁣

2. Start honoring what you already know you want⁣⁣

3. Spend time thinking about the many questions above

The question I get asked most often by people wishing to have more time.

“𝘞𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘱𝘭𝘢𝘯𝘯𝘦𝘳 𝘥𝘰 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘶𝘴𝘦?⁣”

The question I get most often by people wanting to become more scheduled, purposeful, and intentional in their home and business. ⁣⁣⁣

For the past 16 years, I have used a $4.95 planner. ⁣⁣⁣

This planner was used as I finished my master’s degree when pregnant with my second baby while my husband was in PA school.

This planner helped me organize our 18 moves in 16 years. ⁣⁣⁣⁣

This planner is where I planned out life while going through life coach certification and working full-time.

This planner was used when I lost 100 pounds and ran my first 1/2 marathon. ⁣⁣⁣⁣

It’s also the planner used while building my successful six-figure life coaching business while parenting 3 girls.

𝐌𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐮𝐥 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐫 𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐝𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰𝐥𝐞𝐝𝐠𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐭𝐨 𝐠𝐞𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐬. ⁣⁣

It’s not about the planner, it’s about the 𝐛𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐟 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐟𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 you have in 𝐘𝐎𝐔𝐑 𝐏𝐋𝐀𝐍!

Because everyone plans, goals, and desires are different, I have clients 𝐜𝐫𝐮𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐠𝐨𝐚𝐥𝐬, 𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐬𝐢𝐱 𝐟𝐢𝐠𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐬, 𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐦𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐝, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐞𝐧𝐣𝐨𝐲𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐬𝐮𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬 in their 𝐛𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐬 using⁣ only⁣

– 3×5 card⁣

– a notes app

⁣- google calendar

⁣- college ruled paper

⁣- Trello boards or⁣

– a fancy $65 planner ⁣⁣

What works is what motivates you and helps you focus on what matters most and helps you reach your goals. ⁣

How to make the middle magical too!

The beginning often feels exciting, motivating, or creative.

The end often feels satisfying, whole, or successful.

The middle sometimes feels messy, overwhelming, and challenging…unless

You become aware of what tasks in the middle bring the smae feelings that you feel at the beginning and the end?

The middle is where the magic is if you intentionally bring in those feelings in on purpose.

What are you doing in the middle that allows for excitement, excitement, creativity, satisfaction, and success?

When you become aware of the middle and bring your feelings there on purpose, you enjoy the beginning, the middle, and the end.

Don’t Let Excuses Hold You Back

The right coach can propel you forward in your life and business!

Are you ready to figure out what your priorities and goals are in life?

“I can’t keep going like this!” my newest client just expressed.

Sadly, it’s not the first time I’ve heard a client mutter those words.

Clients come to me when they are burnt out, exhausted, lack clarity, motivation, and direction in what to do to simplify their business and motherhood.

They like doing both (well, at least they did) however, they are starting to resent all of it! (being exhausted and lacking clarity can do that)

Here’s the first thing I tell my new clients.

“If you don’t know what you’re aiming for in your business and motherhood, you’re likely going to feel exhausted, unsatisfied, scattered, and behind.”

Priorities are not your goals. They are much more insightful and directional!

Priorities tell you the what and the why you are doing something and the actions needed to get the results you desire.

I help my clients uncover their priorities and identify their targets.

Together, we make the targets stand still so you can make progress and gain traction towards them!

I will show you how to dig out of the pit you feel like you’re in and find the hope, clarity, and direction you desire so that you can KEEP doing it!

I help successful women in business “KEEP DOING IT” without all the overwhelm, exhaustion, and defeat.

How to recognize and celebrate small victories in your life?

I’ve been working with a client who feels unbalanced and is having a hard time recognizing where she is doing a great job in her motherhood.

I asked her what she had done that day.

She told me that she prepared her children a healthy lunch, spent time with them doing a new activity, and planned to take them to a pumpkin patch later.

I told her those were all a series of successes. They were all evidence of doing a great job in motherhood.

Her reply, “yeah, but those are normal. Everyone does that!”

I had to remind her that not everyone does, and even if everyone did, it doesn’t make her actions any less!

Will you PLEASE do me a favor?

This week, will you make an intentional attempt to notice where you have victories? Notice the things you are doing even if you think “everyone does them.”

When we downplay our series of successes, it makes it hard to feel balanced and believe in ourselves as a great mom!

I’d love to hear what you discover!  Hit reply back a let me know one thing you did today that makes you proud!

What kind of impression does your brand leave on your clients?

One of the 𝐛𝐢𝐠𝐠𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐬 I see my clients make is believing their critical, self-judgmental thoughts. ⁣⁣
⁣⁣
They are running successful businesses, but instead of focusing on that greatness, service, success, they are overwhelmed and fall victim to…⁣⁣
⁣⁣
“Yeah, but if they knew how messy my house was”?⁣⁣
⁣⁣
“What if they knew I fed my kids frozen pizza, again, and put them to bed in what they wore to school?” ⁣⁣
⁣⁣
“I’m embarrassed to admit how many emails I have in my inbox.” ⁣⁣
⁣⁣
“I am a total mess when it comes to motherhood!”⁣⁣
⁣⁣
“I feel so disorganized in my business. I often wonder how it’s doing so well”!⁣⁣
⁣⁣
Guess what, your clients don’t care about that! ⁣⁣
⁣⁣

They care about you, your product/service, and if you sell/provide something they can purchase 𝐭𝐨 𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐩 𝐦𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐫 𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐞 𝐛𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫. ⁣⁣

You might care about your home, your schedule, motherhood organization, and how many emails are in your inbox, and 𝐈 𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐬𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐲𝐨𝐮! ⁣⁣
⁣⁣

Do you know of anyone that thought this on their wedding day?

On our wedding day do you think either of us thought…

“I don’t really expect this to work”

“This might fail”

“This is probably a dumb idea”

You might think I’m crazy for asking such a question, right!?

Sometimes, when my clients, start a new program, launch a new course, hire a new VA, increase their prices, or host a webinar, they think these types of THOUGHTS! 😬

” I already know this isn’t going to work”

“I don’t really expect this to turn out”

“I this totally going to fail”

What would change in your business, and your motherhood if you thought the very same things that you did on your wedding day?

“I’m so excited for the future”

“I can’t wait to see how incredible this is”

“I’m in it for forever”

“This is going to be good”

Whether you’re struggling in your motherhood feeling unorganized and not sure how to schedule in all the things you think are important or you’re worried about having enough time in your business to get all the tasks completed on time if you thought…

“I don’t really expect this to turn out”

You know what you’re setting yourself up for, and it’s not pretty!

I work with incredible businesswomen who know how to believe the “wedding day” thoughts about their business, but when it comes to streamlining and scheduling their TIME, motherhood and the tasks of the day they are living in “this IS a total disaster”!

If you want help organizing, scheduling, and structuring your time so that you can be the amazing mom that runs a thriving business, we can work out a plan to move forward so that you can create the motherhood you planned to have when you also started your business!

Focus on this one things for better results

Prior to becoming a coach, I spent many years as a special education teacher.

I noticed that many teachers would hone in on a child’s weakness and then have them work on that over and over and then wonder why there wasn’t much progress.

I had a different approach.

I had them work on and refine their strengths.

As they worked on their strengths, they become stronger.

They became more confident.

They become more willing to work on something that was harder.

They discovered more of what they were good at.

They lit up, and that enthusiasm was passed on to others.

They developed strengths in areas they had no idea were options to them.

It’s ok to notice an area you would like to improve in, but if you want the most improvement in your motherhood and business, focus on your strengths.

Use your strengths to grow your business and your motherhood relationships!

Curious about what your strengths are?

Here are a few questions that might help you uncover them.

1. What are you good at?
2. What do you enjoy doing?
3. What is fun/easy for you to do?
4. What do other people say you are good at?
5. What is something that you can do for hours?
6. What excites you?
7. What do you enjoy learning about?
8. If you had to talk about something spontaneously for thirty minutes, what would you talk about?
9. What is the best part of your motherhood?

Tell me below one answer to the questions above.

Success shouldn’t be held back!

My oldest daughter has an August 6th birthday.

When she turned five, she had 5 friends with summer birthdays too, yet I was the only parent that had their child start school that year.

The rest of the parents “held their kid back” another year and waited to send them when they were 6.

When some of the other mothers asked why I didn’t hold Camryn back, I had two quick thoughts.

1. I expected her to succeed and love kindergarten.

2. It didn’t occur to me to hold her back. She was ready! And if there were areas that she wasn’t “ready” in yet, she would learn those things!

Luckily, this story isn’t about whether or not to hold your child back.

However, it is about whether or not you’re holding yourself back.

That thing in your business or motherhood that you’ve been “holding off on”, “waiting to be ready”, waiting for “more time”…

How would it be different if you

1. Expected to succeed

2. Believed you could learn what you need to learn to have it be a success?

And now my 19-year-old killing it in college! She’s a junior that just turned 19 this month! They said she wasn’t “ready” to apply to nursing school, but look who’s totally ready!

You change everything when you expect to succeed!
