Recently I was being interviewed for a YouTube channel and I was asked this question.
What are your top 3 tips for moms working from home?
Do you want to know what I said?
1. Know your priorities, and define your action steps.
For most, it’s easy to spout off their top 5 priorities. They might be in areas such as health, relationships, business/career, spirituality, and self-care/development but that’s where most people end the assignment. I would invite you to dive a bit further by determining the RESULTS you want from each priority and then define what action steps you will take to support the priority and create the result.
2. Define your business hours and stick to them.
Just because we have a flexible schedule for working doesn’t mean we are flexible (for everyone else) during our work hours! If you’re not keeping to your scheduled work hours you won’t reach your level of success before you hit burnout.
3. Perfect your strengths, not your weaknesses.
We don’t have to be good at everything. Decide what you’re good at and do more of that in your business & motherhood. When you lead with your strengths, it’s easier to feel confident and expect to succeed. P.S. Confidence and self-belief are the number one and two most important business strategies.
